Inconsistencies in FanSite articles

First off I'm new here so hi to everyone. Some of you may recognize me from TPM.

Anyway, I noticed that nearly all the fansite articles link to their respective site, but there has been an inconsistency on where the link is, some have the link in the external links section but some have it in the article itself.

So, I was just wondering where the link should go. To me it makes most sense for it to be in the external links section (or possibly both although that seems redundant) but I'd like to hear what other people think.

My take on it would be, external link section, but Evan might disagree.

Kinda tough when Articuno Island doesn't exist as a pokemon site now. However, I did link to Arti's Icephoenix.xom site in the article. So, I dunno if that article should have an external link part. Same will go for Frost Cave when I make the article some day. The site doesn't exist any more but like PPN/AI, it was part of the BMG family. But, at least Caterpie Forest is still around.

Edit: And someone can make an external link to the UPNetwork board. Can't wait to see that article and the Jaxel one.

Link in "external links". All sites that still exist get their own links, if possible.
