Hey.

I've noticed that we're doing a section in Bulbapedia about fansites and people who have had a part in BMG history. I've recently did one on Articuno Island, former hostee of BMG and BMG was a member of Prussian Town/AI's network.

Anyway, I talked to the webmistress of the site, Arti and it got me thinking about asking other webmasters to do an article. Arti said she'd have done it but she dind't have the time so we worked on it together. So, do we want to contact old webmasters and see if they want to help?

I dunno if Jaxel and Bulba still have AIM. Kevin's a cookie eating freak so maybe Suzie or Chris the Master can make the TPM article. Then we come to the dodgy subject of Joey...

Joe's site was a part of the Articuno Island network way back when Joe was on Geocities. And I've asked him if he wants to make a page. He said it'd be biased if he did it so he asked me to do it.

So, do we try to contact old webmasters? They can do their own profile pages, too. I should do Arti's. There are still some sites that need to be filled in like: DVGN, Frost Cave, Loose Change etc.

We should also see if we can get a Slimu and Pokédome page up, too. I know we can do it but it'd be nice to get help from the former webmasters. What do you think? Is getting the old sites/people mentioned part of the category of fansites?

I asked Catbert to post a message in TM over at TPM about Bulbapedia's idea. So, we gotta see if Suzie and co wanna do it.

Edit: Oh and what other sites can we list?

I got:

Frost Cave
Caterpie Forest
UPNetwork
Loose Change
TPM
SPP
PokéDome

Anything else?

I'll mention something to Pokemopolis.

Do you want individual pages with history and such for each site?

Unbiased, factual pages.

Oh. :O

TPM is taking bets on how long it will be before you protect the Serebii page.

We'll probably end up protecting both that page and the Joe Merrick page right from the outset, and make any non-staffer who wants to edit them have to submit a change to us for approval first.

Or you could just leave them unprotected and handle vandalism and stupid changes as you would on any other page...

Which is what we've decided to do in the end. At least until we actually start getting vandalism, etc, anyway.

Mm. We have the "Protected page guidelines" in place to deal with this sort of thing.
