I think a lot of article writers need to learn the difference between "its" and "it's".

Anything else you've all noticed?

Major problem with people learning English in general. I could always do a grammar lesson...

Then fix their grammar for them...

Vermillion (Vermilion) and appearence (appearance) are pretty common

Aye, I've seen misuse of it's quite a bit... I suppose that a couple decades from now, it will be the dominant form, and the contracted it is might disappear altogether... Or maybe they'll even swap the spelling for the two...

P.S.: I don't believe it. Zeta has actually done the latter and swapped the usage of it's and its.

No need to name names.

I've had trouble while writing the origin of pokemon's names because I live in Australia. Because the Pokemon games are distributed here in the USA and Australia in American English is that what we are meant to be for the pedia. I don't know about the versions available in the United Kingdom but I'll have to run around and change a few 'flavours' to 'flavors' and 'colours' to 'colors' if it is meant to be American English.

I admit that it will be hard to keep consistency but if you wish to write entries in American then do so if you please.

I don't think there's any reason for anyone to be pedantic at this stage about using American, British, Canadian, Australian, or any other specific dialect of English. Use whichever is most natural.

Hell, International English is closer to Australian than American anyway. ^^;;

about its-it's, it doesn't matter if you have English as a second language. I live in Canada, and my social teacher says that there are people 60 years old who still don't know how to do it properly.

Besides spelling/grammar errors, it's a pain to go around fixing links to the games because people link to Red, or something.... X_X
