Why don't you tell me who the two most hated characters are, then? Brock is more of an annoyance than a real hate target, quite a few people like Misty, and Tracey... I guess he works, but he was only around for a filler season, so he didn't really garner much attention. May is popular(except among the Misty loving crowd), and Max is a decent character, if a bit annoying. Besides Tracey, who wasn't really around much, I don't see who could garner as much hate as I've seen for Ash or TR(and I'm going to assume Jessie's the one most hated of that group).

Ash won't evolve Pikachu. He didn't evolve Taillow. He didn't evolve Snorunt. He didn't evolve Treecko. His and any trainers' Pokemon evolve when and if THEY want to. Exactly what power does a trainer have that makes a Pokemon instantly evolve anyway, aside from the use of items? Talk like that betrays a total misunderstanding of the relationship between a trainer and his Pokemon.

I like Blackjack's idea of Meowth and Pikachu evolving and having both teams retrieve some DeEvolution Spray, sounds like an excellent episode plot to me.

I was just wondering why Jessie&James would say, "Speaking of kissing," then show something that had little or nothing to do with it. It would be almost like saying, "Speaking of chicken, I ate some beef curry today": chicken (kissing) isn't beef (hugging), but they have a connection (being meat/having a place in Rocketshipping). Hence my "Or did I already state the connection [kissing's place in Rocketshipping] and you're using an indirect connection?"

I'm a Rocketshipper as well but the pic that person drew is stupid. I'm not saying that the right side was correct (which it isn't), just that I hope that it wouldn't turn out like... 2/3 of the TR fanfics that I've read. QuietDragon is right, that they're somewhere in the middle, that both sides are extreme, though maybe that's why I found the whole thing somewhat cute: I'm not on either side, so all I can really do is think, "Hmm".

Problem with OOC is, its a matter of opinion. Personally, I get flamed all the time on my Fanfiction.net account (which is one reason I stopped posting most of my fic there), because I make certain characters who are really high on the Happy Fun Pokescale O' Evil have a conscience (like Jirarudan and Gio.) And a great deal of that has a lot to do with personal perception- I think that no one is totally evil or totally good, and that's reflected in my fics. That's not the same with other people though, and I respect that, but I think when reading fic, you should have an open mind. (ends rant that really belongs in Stories Cafe)

I'm thinking that whatever happens, she'll probably say she has no influence on what directors and adaptors choose to do. She's a Voice Actor, and likely has very little to do with the actual rewriting and editing process. I don't think VAs ever see their programs before recording, except to listen to a few clips of the original and whatever personal research they do on their own. It's never wise to "bite the hand", but it can't hurt to talk to her. She's closer to the dub folks than any of us will ever be!

And actually, we *do* have to bring up the sex change, owing to the fact that, well, let's face it--if they changed Bashou because of his looks or his relationship, that's just plain offensive.

I had a STRONG feeling that they were gonna change Bashou's gender(crap, i jynxed it). But yeah, I think they just changed it because they didn't want the kids to be confused and to avoid any "angry parents", which in a way, is kind of censoring them.

I mean, so he doesn't have short cut hair, brawd shoulders, and a muscular body. That doesn't mean he isn't a guy. I practically seen the same thing walking down town.
