Ok, so it says that I have to put the URL to the image, so I did that and yeah I hit upload, but there's still no image...I also hit save changes...no image. So help.

If you uploaded the image to Bulbagarden, make sure you put (nothing needs to be between them, apparently) in your sig. If you uploaded it somewhere else, you'll need to put the location between, I believe, [IMG] and [IMG] (with a slash in the second one, similar to the SIGPIC stuff (technically, capitalization doesn't matter, but...just throwing it in as it's displayed).

I got that part, but where do I put the thing?

Not sure if I'm understanding the question, but the [SIGPIC] tags go wherever you want it to; sigs are constructed basically just like posts, so you can also use syntax like [center] to make it appear the way you want.

I have never used the image upload way because I could never get it to work. Heres what I do:

imageurlgoshere

Now, put that into your sig (with the url of the image you want) without ANY spaces in between the first center and img brackets and it should work.

I'll give it a shot and it's [img] that I'm doing not [SIGPIC].

Ok I did what you said, but it didn't work. When I tried it, it said "Invalid file."

...?

Try posting the code here, exactly as you attempted it. We'll figure it out.

well it had no spaces in center and img

Hm, how about the actual URL? I know that some URLs, particularly from Imageshack, are invalid for [img].

Works fine for me. <_<
Copypaste the code from this post and see if it magically works.

Code? Don't see one...or are you gonna post it?

You can use the Quote button at the bottom to see it.

Seems to work for me too... I suggest uploading it to a photobucket account or something similar and try again.

Maybe something in that code gets eaten by signatures?

Considering that other people have images in their sigs working fine, I don't think that's it.

If you're using SIGIMGW, SIGIMGH or SIGIMGMAX, that is used instead of IMG, and is used in exactly the same manner. Generally, if an image won't appear properly with any of those tags, it's because where you've uploaded it doesn't allow cross linking.

Thanks I'll try all of the options then, I'll come back to tell if it works or not.

Ok...this isn't working...I tried uploading those trainer card images some have been using in sigs, so clearly those allow crosslinking, but I tried all those options and it all ended in failure. Anymore tips...anybody?

Why not just do your sig like you've been trying that's been failing, and let everyone see the problem in action?

Ugagah...it's like that sigs won't work for me...every possible option and no dice.

Odd. I took the image's URL, put it between the img tags and previewed it in my signature. Popped up, no problem. Try it one more time and copy EXACTLY what you is in the box that you're previewing for your sig. Then paste it here. Don't put spaces in or anything. Just copy it and paste it in a post here. I GUARANTEE YOU, that if you do that, we can figure out EXACTLY what the problem is. And if I am wrong, then I will...I don't know...I'll do something drastic. Kill a hobo or something.

Ok it doesn't work...I'll put the link here so others can use it to experiment to see which of the options work...if it works please come back and post exactly what you did on this thread for me to use. Thanks. (Don't actully go to the link. Just experiment.)

http://i.ytimg.com/vi/9QvC3C7u0Ks/default.jpg[ img] (replace the space with a /)

OR

[center]http://i.ytimg.com/vi/9QvC3C7u0Ks/default.jpg[ img][ center] (same thing, replace each space with a single /)

will get you:

[img]http://i.ytimg.com/vi/9QvC3C7u0Ks/default.jpg

OR

[img]http://i.ytimg.com/vi/9QvC3C7u0Ks/default.jpg

in your sig. If you want to keep the text you have, merely place the entirety of one of the two I've posted BELOW that text.

Of course, I don't know WHY I'm still trying to help as you've ignored BOTH of the last two suggestions I've given you that would allow those of us who WANT to help to be able to help you better.
