After reading the Did you know...? stuff in Bulbapedia stating "that Pokémon is banned in Saudi Arabia for assumptions of promoting Zionism and gambling?" stuff (also some articles say that Saudi Arabia ban the games and cards, we can assume they also ban the anime. and I thought Christians were mostly the ones who want Pokemon banned), I come to creating this thread on my possible countries in the world where Pokemon is banned ENTIRELY (meaning no pokemon cards, games, or even anime). Here are some of the possibilities, although I may not be 100& correct:

North Korea: most isolated on nearly everything including media wise. Nuff said.

Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and other Islamic countries: since Saudi Arabia banned pokemon, I could come to the conclusion that most of the Islamic world bans pokemon as well.

Some African countries: Not really, not many people in some African countries like Zimbabwe, Sudan, or Uganda can access television.

Some -stan country in central asia: Of course, they might ban Pokemon at their will, but not likely.

Oh and I kind of rule out China, since it might be possible you can watch or play pokemon there.

So can you think any places other than confirmed Saudi Arabia where pokemon might be banned entirely.

Seeing that most of the organised objection to Pokémon comes from organised religion, it is unlikely that an objection to Pokémon would come from this ninth-largest country in the world. (Ok, so the tenth-largest country is known for "illicit" renaming of Teddiursa.)

The country (or countries) that would be more likely to ban Pokémon would be the more religiously-affiliated ones, probably Ózbekiston.

(Incidentally, for Borat fans, the "President of Kazakhstan" shown at the end of the film is actually the president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.)
