Two adults and two students were shot and wounded at a high school near downtown Cleveland, officials said on Wednesday, and authorities said the police had the suspected shooter under control.
One television station reported a 14-year-old boy who may have fired the shots was killed, but authorities did not confirm this.

hey, at least he wasn't a mentally ill asian who shot up a co-ed residence hall and ended up getting more kills than two guys with sub-machine guns, shotguns, and pipebombs planted in cars in the parking lot
I live in Ohio, so this is more than a little unsettling. I'm not near Cleveland, but still...
At least the only one dead is the shooter. It could've been a lot worse.

Because of this shooting, people were able to get a tip to police to stop another shooting from happening. Link to news story:

I live only an hour away from cleveland, so this was big news. In my science class, I was suppose to get a test, but instead, she talked all period about if a shooter came into this school, what to do.

This is why America needs stricter gun control.

I agree 100%. This seems to be the only solution to the problem at hand. Although, its the person who controls the gun that kills people, now the gun (specifically speaking).

i'm just your everyday asshole, well insensitive asshole.
Mm. That thwarted shooting, right outside of Philly, was actually at my old high school. It was kind of crazy to get text messages from your siblings living the school lockdown after they caught the kid as it happened.

It is the National Rifle Association's fault for there not being any stricter gun control because they complain that it violates people's right to bear arms. Their spokesman is Charlton Heston of the original Ten Commandments movie.

Yes... Because it's logical to want to be harassed, constantly.

Oh God.......... I remember hearing that. Especially since I live about an hour from Cleveland. Then there was this kid at MY school who threatened to bring a gun there and shoot people. Oh, God. I was terrifyed! Then the rumor that he did have said gun with him a few days later (Friday, to be exact) and that there were bomb threats on the school. Oh God, that scared the shit out of me...... *shivers, then crawls in a corner*

I was bullied alot in HS, its easy to see how someone could be pushed this far..
People never seem too concerned with helping people who are being bullied enough to do something like this. If this kid had one good friend to hang out with I bet this would have never happened..
