He was spamming them up before his posts got deleted, unless there was another spammer at the time. Either way, quite a few of the sub-boards were being spammed. I wouldn't think the admins would bother keeping all of the spam messages where they were or in the HoS.

No, all his other posts were deleted (and since they don't exist anymore, his postcount went down), because all he did was start threads...he had about seven threads going on. This one's the last one.

Yeah, and those threads just had 'fuckdswzx' and other one 'word' entries. Usually had 'fuck' tossed in there somewhere. One had 'fuck <character>' repeatedly.

So, yeah, Gyaro, I wasn't seeing things. XD (Again.)

If this person was causing all this trouble on these forums and wanting to start flamewars after moderators and admins warned him several times, he definately deserved his ban. If you are to start flamewars and cause trouble, you'll cause trouble for yourself and will definately earn a ban. I'm glad his banned. Thank God! I hope this member never comes back or if he's not permanently banned, he'll be causing potential problems to us in the future.

Things have been worse. I think the only thing I've seen have been, spambots, and N00bs (to either message boards, or people who aren't but sure can act like it)

Seeing an actual troll seems rare.

Spambots are much worse other than a stupid troll on the forums or chat rooms. Have you've been on Dejatoons in the last few days on a rare channel? A couple of people were zlined because of them from what I heard in the past day. I also actually agree with you that Uglyduck is a troll. I'm hoping to watch out for that person regardless of where I am on the internet. The internet is fun for me that way. How many trolls do actually come here?

So far, it has seemed like bulbagarden has got around 3-10 spambots a month since the summer, and maybe a troll once every few months. When Pokemon was really publically popular, though, it was possible to see a troll or a group of trolls once a week.

As for N00by people, that seems inconsistent, but there has been an increase in the last few months due to diamond and pearl. Personally, I don't mind n00bs because I like to think they generally want to fit in. Pokemon is a children's property, so I think it's natural for this to be the first message board for many kids.

Listen, the term 'troll' has been used in just about every internet forum, chat, and so on. NO ONE will not say 'troll' just because your username is one letter off. The term's NOT offensive, except to people grabbing at straws to find something to complain about, or make themselves a victim over.

What you did was 'spam' your thread all over the place. That's being a 'spammer'. Not a 'spambot'. There's a rather obvious difference between the two. But one thing goes without saying: both a spammer and spambot are just about equally disliked.

Revan, you need a little clarification. A spambot is a computer program that starts accounts and starts threads advertising whatever. You, my fellow Bulbagardener, were a spammer, a person who posts off-topic things in other topics (The Master Breeder Is Here), or posts repeatedly in one topic over and over with off-topic things.
