While all eyes are on Manhattan, precious few are watching what's happening in Washington. On Thursday, Senators Jon Kyl and Joseph Lieberman filed an amendment to the 2008 Defense Authorization Bill that would make it official U.S. policy to "combat, contain and roll back" Iran and its surrogates in Iraq. Section 5 calls for the United States to formally designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist organization. If passed, this amendment would open the door even wider for military action against Iran.

The Iranian parliament on Saturday voted to designate the United States' Central Intelligence Agency and the U.S. Army as terrorist organizations, IRNA, the country's state-run news agency, reported.

I believe the phrase "I know you are, but what am I" applies here. I wonder if the U.S. Congress passed a measure calling Iran a "poopy country" if Iran's parliament would retaliate with a similar measure.

Hilarious yet sad at the same time.

Looks like the beginnings of Iraq War Part II...

(Then again, that would mean the Iraq would of had to end...)

We did a fake 2004 election when I was in History Class, and everyone voted Nader. The score was out of somewhere around 120 kids, and there was 110 votes for Nader. Anyways, what a great was to start the race for the 2008 election. Somebody's up shit creek without a paddle when they go into office.
