I loved "A Wrinkle in Time," but I never got around to her other books, which are on my bookshelf now.

Now I feel kind-a bad because I thought she had been dead for a while ^_^;;

I thought she was much older than that, actually.

But what a shame.

What I found a shame is that my news channels didn't cover it, and it happened in my state. That's a shame that a cherished author doesn't get news coverage when they pass on.

Of course, I have to join the others when they say that she seemed much older/already dead. Those books have been such a part of my life, and my copies of her books are so worn, that they seemed older than they really are. I've only read A Wrinkle in Time, but still...

I'm still annoyed at my news channels.

I remember reading that book in the 6th grade. Very good author. RIP.

I loved all her books. I really had no idea what time period she came from, though. Like the rest of you, I feel bad that I never knew. :p Even me, who has read all of her books, not just a Wrinkle in Time.
