Beckham scores first US Goal

Personally, I don't care about soccer and when David Beckham came and landed in the MLS's LA Galaxy it made me think that soccer in the US would be even more down the tube. But, he scores his first goal, gets his first assist, too. And a warm welcome to the MLS, he gets a yellow card to top it all off. Anyone impressed about his showing and can he save US Soccer

Apparently, he thinks his signing for LAG is going to make football a mainstream American sport. But it just won't. It's going to suffer the fate of Basketball in the UK, but probably over a longer period of time.
