Alcohol and video games do not mix. Fact of life.

i hardly call this thread shameful. threads like whos the sexiest pokemon are shameful. but im willing to let it go anyway.

I didn't call it shameful, I called it HoS-worthy.

Alcohol and video games do not mix. Fact of life.

Videogames are better when alcohol is involved and many people are drunk.

Fact of life. :D

Wii Sports is awesome with a few bevvies. (And distinctly not without them)

That's because you're drunk 24/7, Alex.

a couple of drinks and guitar hero is great.

then you play sober and suddenly you're awesome

at least that's what happens to me...

Grand Theft Auto and White Ace. Things become a whole lot more real.

I don't remember what it's like to get drunk. :p It happened when I was three (stole drinks from my dad's beer when we went bowling with my mom, him, and a bunch of his navy buddies). With the anti-depression medication I'm on, I'm not allowed to drink. Mixing your uppers with your downers is a no-no. xD

Uppers mixed with Downers equals sweet neutrality balance... doesn't it?

I don't think so...

You know what would be a good drinking game? Mario Party.

Mario Party drunk eh? Anything Mario related seems like fun sloshed. Mario Kart, Mario Soccer for the Wii... you name it, it'll be funny.

Not as trippy as Katamari Damacy though, lol.

Woah, no way. Drugs and Super Smash Brothers would probably end up with people pausing the game every two seconds to admire the smells and colours of the level, and every once in a while, look at the Moon from Majora's Mask's trophy, gazing in awe.

I'm guessing anyway.

Sounds good to me!

At night everyone is chilled and trippy, however in the day time everyone is on a cafine high.

From what I've observed well... not entirely, but you're on the right track. That lasts for all but 2 seconds then they get this fake intensity like they care about the game, but not really. But don't mistake it, they play really, really well.

Then they stop for a snack/meal/4-course meal break. :(

When everyone's drunk, they seem to have a tougher time controlling their in-game character which isn't a big surprise.

I've become designated watcher... just because it's more amusing to watch drunk people than to be drunk yourself. Plus the guys need somebody to regale in their stupidity the night before. I'll fill them in on what they what to hear, I promise.

QFT, unless they actually acknowledge the fact that you're there. Then it becomes a problem.

Most of the time they're occupied anyway, either drinking, shagging or playing a video game.

I'm not even old enough to drink, and probably never will, and already I'm developing the Pokemon D/P Anime Drinking Game! It's distinctly easier to come up with a drinking game for anime then video games, though I am working on a Mario Party one. My ideas thus far are: Every time Pikachu thunderbolts Team Rocket drink 1. Every time Team Rocket Blasts Off Again, drink 2. Every time Staravia is used for searching, drink 1. Every time Ash tells everyone to hurry up so he can get his next badge, drink 1. Every time Dawn tells them to hurry up so they can get to her next contest, drink 2. Every time Brock freaks out over Nurse Joy, Officer Jenny, or any other girl, drink 1. Any time any main character catches a new pokemon, drink 3, cause it's never gonna happen again.

Damn no edit button! I just realized this is a horrible idea. Disregard it, please. Thank you, and have a plesant tomorrow.

I lolled.
Not a bad idea, but I'd probably end up getting impatient and exhausting my supply of gin before the theme song's over and the shitty titles are read.

Ya sure? you really seem to have the mechanics of it nailed on the head. With that set of rules, you'd be asking for a hammering somewhere toward the end of any show since most of the things mentioned don't happen to the end.

Still, an interesting idea. Couldn't say I'd ever dream of doing this with my friends though.

Try it during the Unown episode, and then have an extra drink when you see a different Unown on screen at a time. Crazy shit.

The Unown episode has only one Unown in it though.
