Apologies everyone for the delay in the current mission. I'm currently swamped with work, and with misc D/P related things (As I'm sure everyone is, given that posts dropped off the very day the games came out. ^^;; ). I'll be resuming normal updates within a day or two.
Just as a quick question though, I'm wondering how quickly you'd all prefer we do these missions? Originally, it was planned that Evolutions would post once per day, giving you a full update of everything that's happened. We ended up being more like every 2-3 days with updates though. Would you prefer it stays like that, or that I try to speed up?

I'd say that for those who are in the mission, the length is good, but those who miss out on one have to wait quite long to get into the next.

I don't think that in itself will be a major problem in the long-term. Between The Pokémon Center Lobby subforum and side-quests, those not on the actual mission(s) still have plenty to do with a little expansion.
It may seem obvious but things are going too slowly because posts aren't being made. Ideally, the characters would generate enough interaction for Evolutions to just post occasionally to affect the situation but it definately has to post sometimes.
And the distance between posts should vary on the action. No point in interrupting a good conversation unless there is good reason to interrupt it and in that case don't be slow in interrupting it. :p
This post is negative on the Evolutions account but I do feel it only has 50% of the role of keeping things moving with the characters filling the other 50%.

From what I can see Mission 4 isn't going to end well. They're completely out classed.

Mission 4's main puzzle is difficult, but not impossible. It is meant to be a harder mission though. A more mental mission, while Mission 5 is likely to end up being very physical.
We've got a number of new players waiting in the wings for the next mission, so I'm hoping we'll either get this finished soon (if it's not finished by Christmas, I'll have the NPC's find an excuse to abort the mission, which could simply be that they're "outclassed", as you said), or the new players will opt to do side-quests.
